The Klairs Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter is an eye cream rich in sunflower seed oil, Vitamin A and Vitamin E to protect the thin skin around your eyes. It also has 4 peptides to improve fine lines.

The eye butter uses key ingredients - Caffeine and Quad Peptides, Red Bean Extract, Mugwort Extract and Sunflower Seed Oil to nourish the skin and provide antioxidant benefits. Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Copper Tripeptide-1, Oligopeptide-29, Oligopeptides-32 help target fine lines, while Caffeine reduces puffiness and dark circles. Red Bean Extract also helps reduce inflammation and tighten and soften the skin.

Suitable for all skin types, it can also be used by those with milium concern, as the soft butter-like texture is easily absorbed. Its formulation is rich and moisturising without being oily, and hence suitable for oily skin types as well as people who don't usually like overly rich eye creams.

Key Ingredients

- Caffeine & Quad Peptides: Caffeine, acts as an antioxidant and helps reduce redness, puffiness and reduce the appearance of inflammation and fatigue. It helps constrict blood vessels, which improves dark circles and puffiness. While peptides (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Copper Tripeptide-1, Oligopeptide-29, Oligopeptides-32) help target fine lines. 

- Red Bean Extract: Phaseolus Angularis Seed Extract, also known as red bean extract, has the ability to tighten and soften the eye skin as well as promote circulation. This helps reduce the appearance of inflammation and helps you look 'awake'. 

- Mugwort Extract: Artemisia Princeps Leaf Extract, a type of Japanese mugwort, used across the Fundamental Line; is known for its antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. Its extract can reduce redness and nourish the eye skin area.

- Sunflower Seed Oil: The eye butter contains Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil which is rich in vitamins A and E, and is, therefore, able to protect the thin skin around our eyes.

How to Use

1. Apply toner after cleansing.
2. At your moisturiser step, apply an adequate amount of the product around your eyes.
3. Finish your routine with a face moisturiser.

A little goes a long way

This tiny tube has lasted me months. A tiny dot is enough. It is very lightweight and works well on my oily skin. It's a good moisturizer for the under eye area. Yet to see any effect though.

Hydrating formulation!

First of all, this is the first time that I tried limese connect & I'm really happy with my experience as the service is fast & they send free samples too. Coming to this eye cream, I always trust klairs as a brand. Although this is a recent addition, so can't comment whether it will help with fine lines. However, I feel it is a great product if you want to give that extra care to eye area especially during winters when it becomes so dry. The texture is light-weight but hydrating. Also, the tube is quite large considering you need very less for the under eye area, hence it will prove to be value for money too.

Probably better off not investing in it if you're looking for a cream that's more than a moisturiser

- Quite lightweight. More like a gel. Quick absorption. Subtly moisturising. Not too creamy and hence confused that it’s got the word ‘butter’ attached to it as it wasn’t moisturising for long.
- Has helped reduce the milia by a little under my eyes that was caused from using the re’equil under eye cream for a couple days (big mistake). But not by much. So, that’s still a plus in my book.
- Helped with fine lines? Partially. Only for as long as you use it.
- Sadly, didn’t help in the slightest with dark circles. Seemed to make it more prominent for me tbh. Not that I saw a claim toward it.
- For the most, unimpressive as it’s pricey for the work it delivers in the end.

Holy grail!

This is one of the best eye cream i have ever used it’s super nourishing! It moisturize my under eye area so well! Love this one highly recommend!

Its been around 10 days since ive been using this. Though the description says that it reduces fine lones, I have yet to notice any difference. But very happy with the delivery by Limese. It was delivered within one day and the goodies were great. Limese is a great site for Korean beauty products. Will henceforth order from this site.
