The Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop is a night serum designed to address various causes of ageing and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It uses a dual-peptide formula, to provide anti-ageing benefits, and stimulate the skin's collagen production. It helps improve skin elasticity, repair damaged skin, and slow signs of ageing with the use of key ingredients EGF (20 ppm sh-Oligopeptide-1) and bFGF (sh-Polypeptide-1). The Youth Activating Drop supplements the body's natural production of EGF and bFGF, to help keep the skin firm and smooth. It also improves the skin's response to damage caused by harmful UVA rays, thereby improving skin health too.
With minimal ingredients, the serum is suitable for use by everyone, i.e., all ages or skin types, to slow and prevent premature ageing. While the serum does not use any water making it a super-stable formulation, it has a lightweight water-like texture allowing for easy absorption.

Key Ingredients
- EGF Epidermal Growth Factor, works on the epidermis (outermost layer) of the skin to promote skin regeneration. It is highly effective in tackling fine lines and wrinkles that form during your 20-30s. Although naturally present in the body, EGF rapidly deteriorates from the mid-20s. Replenishing the skin’s EGF through skincare, regulates skin cell turnover to increase the speed at which skin regenerates. It also strengthens the skin’s outer barrier, plumps the skin and improves the appearance of fine lines.
- bFGF Fibroblast Growth Factor, works deeper in the skin (the lower dermis layer). It helps repair damage caused by harmful UVA rays and promotes the production of collagen, hyaluronic acid, fibronectin, and other bodily components that are diminished by UVA damage. It also improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The peptide increases moisture retention and radiance levels of the skin, while also improving deep wrinkles that form between the mid to late 30s.
- Guaizulene: Derived from Chamomile oil, possesses anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antibacterial, ulcer-protective, and anti-fungal properties. Often used to even soothe burns and inflammation, it alleviates redness and swelling in sensitive or acne-prone skin, to promote clearer skin. It also works as as an antioxidant to reduce the impact of free radicals on the skin.
- Blueberry Extract: Blueberry Extract is a strong antioxidant that maximises the anti-ageing benefits of the serum. It also functions to enhance the skin’s collagen and moisture levels.

How to Use
After cleansing and before using the toner, apply 3-4 drops over the face and gently pat to promote absorption.
Note: If you want to repair damaged skin, wet a cotton pad with the essence and apply it on your face where intensive care is required. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Remove the cotton pad and gently pat in the remaining essence.
